Help us achieve the Sustainable Development Goals through the arena of innovation. Take inspiration from  specific targets related to SDG 6, SDG 7, SDG 11 and SDG 13 and create a one-off unique innovation to help the UN in shaping a sustainable future for all categories:

ROUND ONE

  • Present your idea aiming at SDG 6, SDG 7, SDG 11 or SDG 13 in the prescribed format ( Powerpoint presentation with maximum 25 slides). 
  • Preference will be given to original ideas that can realistically present the solution and can engage as many community stakeholders as possible
  • Top 50 Projects will be selected for round Two
  • Last date of submission : October 2019

ROUND TWO

  • All 50 selected students need to prepare a sales/ investment Pitch.
  • It should contain the idea, business model including aspects like scalability, R&D, Innovation and community engagement.
  • Time Limit : 15 Minutes  Venue: New Delhi
  • Students from outside Delhi will be paid return train tickets from their nearest train stations
  • All 50 students will be awarded a letter of recommendation from the UN and DWF.
  • Pitching Session : November 2019
PRIZES
  • Top 3 Winners in both categories will get an opportunity to present and discuss their innovations with the IIT professors and national media in a panel discussion.
  • Top 3 ideas in both categories will be provided investment and mentorship from real entrepreneurs.

Eligibility: Class IX-XII

Registrations only through recognised schools.
Last date of registration: 30 July 2019


This platform challenges the traditional learning of the students and enables them to think innovative, sometimes out-of-the-box. The emphasis has to be given on real research, along with bibliography, rather than a cut-copy-paste method.
