EU India G20 Competition
The European Union (EU) is a political and economic alliance of 27 countries. The EU works closely with India to promote peace, create jobs, boost economic growth and enhance sustainable development across the country.
India is a strategic partner for the EU and the two regions are the world’s largest democracies. The India-EU partnership has expanded in recent years to cover domains other than trade. Especially in 2023, with India leading the G20 dialogue, the G20 could be a forum where cooperation on areas like energy transition can be highlighted. These are also among India’s priorities during its presidency.
The overall objective of this program lead by the Wise Foundation is to bring the EU and its Member States closer to young people in India and to raise the curiosity of young Indian minds about the EU and its Member States. The Wise Foundation is keen to reach out to young people in India and help enhance their knowledge of the world around them, including the rich and diverse history and cultures of Europe, especially in the year when India is presiding over G20.
Who can participate : Students registered in Indian schools from Grades 1 - 12
Prizes : Gifts from India and EU will be given to all the winners. Special gifts for teacher co-ordinators. All the winners will be announced on our websites and other social media handles

Competition :
Grade 1-4 : Create a video of maximum 30 seconds talking about Festival of any one EU country or Indian state
Grade 5-8 : Make a painting of a Monument from any one EU country or Indian state
Grade 9-12 : Write a BLOG (max 500 words) on India-EU relations in any one field of Research and Innovation, with the perspective of G20 Presidency of India
Criteria for winners : Creativity, Neatness, Clarity of thoughts
Winners will be selected from each Grade (1-12) and from each zone (North, South, East, West, North-East) separately
